The OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Immersive Software Engineering aims to develop advanced skills and critical understanding in designing, evaluating, and implementing immersive software systems. It focuses on various domains such as Web & Cloud technologies, Security, Automation, Data analytics, and Project methodologies. This qualification equips learners with industry-specific knowledge and practical skills, enhancing their career prospects and enabling progression to further study. It offers: Engaging and informative study programs aligned with industry and higher education needs. Assessments covering cognitive, affective, and applied skills. Development of academic study skills and technical abilities like research, writing, problem-solving, decision-making, and digital literacy. Upon completion, learners will: Gain a critical understanding of immersive software engineering, design software systems meeting industry standards, and address complex problems. Evaluate software development methodologies and apply advanced programming skills using object-oriented languages and tools. Critically assess ethical implications and propose socially responsible solutions. Conduct independent research, effectively communicate technical information, and demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills. The diploma comprises 6 mandatory units totaling 120 credits, with 1200 Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 600 Guided Learning Hours (GLH): • Security Engineering (20 credits) • Software programming principles and practices in Java I (20 credits) • Agile Project Management (20 credits) • Cloud Computing & DevOps (20 credits) • Database & SQL Programming (20 credits) • Web Designing (20 credits)

An honours degree in related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
Mature learners with management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)
