The OTHM Extended Level 5 Diploma in Early Childhood Education aims to deepen learners' understanding of child development theories, focusing on developmental patterns, context, and progress. Topics also include social and emotional development, cognitive milestones, play-based learning, identity formation, and supporting children with additional needs.
